Bihar’s government has signed an agreement with the road transport ministry for river desilting to reduce flooding. The excavated silt and sand will be utilized in highway construction projects across the state. This initiative aims to improve water flow in rivers while providing construction materials at no cost. Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary emphasized the impact of flooding on the state’s agriculture and infrastructure.
